HI, I'M ARIAN
About Me.
I am a final year student at the University of Technology Sydney studying a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering with a sub-major in Data Analytics. I have had a passion for software development since my first interaction with programming in high school. Since, I have developed my understanding of the engineering discipline and how software can help bring ideas into real, usable applications.

My passions in software now lie mostly within the purview of machine learning and in particular, deep neural networks. I have developed a fascination for the real world applications of AI systems and how they can push the next generation beyond the next frontier of human evolution.
Technical Skills

Practical experience designing and implementing TensorFlow machine learning architectures.

Proficient with the use of OpenCV to process and integrate image and video data for use in Computer Vision systems.

Real-world experience in developing GUI based Python applications that integrate state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques for computer vision tasks.

Academic experience through projects in real-time semantic segmentation as well as image classification and object detection using TensorFlow and Python.

Exceptional experience utilising React/React Native, NodeJS, and MongoDB for building modern cross-platform web and mobile applications.

Ability to digest complex concepts in order to explain to those without expertise in that field. Further solidified through the Engineering Communication subject in which I achieved a High Distinction mark.

Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in managing teams of developers in a professional setting in order to satisfy client requirements within strict time-frames. Further exercising of leadership and teamwork skills built from leading software engineering studios at UTS.
Attention to Detail
Refined through experience in subjects such as Applications Programming, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning and Convolutional Neural Networks in which I received 95+/100 High Distinction marks in.
Problem Solving
Refined problem-solving skills throughout software projects and success in the Engineering Communication subject in which our team participated in the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) challenge. The challenge required designing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cooking stoves in rural Cambodia.
