LEAD ENGINEER

Lead the engineering design and implementation of the IoT integration for the Buzzy platform.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Successfully landing 2 new clients for the company after the integration of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device communication protocols into the mobile platform offering.
Expanding the company's potential client base by extending the possible target industries where our software platform could be utilised.

KEY LEARNINGS

Gained valuable experience working with byte level data streams from BLE peripherals.
Understood the vast ecosystem that BLE encapsulated.

GEOSPATIAL DATA INTEGRATION WITH COMPANY PLATFORM FOR LISMORE COUNCIL

LEAD ENGINEER

Lead the engineering design and implementation of the geo-spatial data integration with our platform's mapping system. This was done for Lismore council as apart of their field reporting workflow.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Enabled the client in their migration from a paper to digital process for field reporting.
Extended the company software product platform to accommodate any possible future client requirements regarding mapping systems.

KEY LEARNINGS

Obtained a deep understanding of how to interact directly with clients by bring responsible for the requirements modelling for this integration.
Realised the importance of the ability to effective communicate technical concepts to individuals of diverse professional backgrounds.
Gained valuable experience in regards to interacting with engineers from external teams.
Expanded my technical knowledge of geo-spatial querying, custom map tiling, and Google/Apple maps API integration.
